Arm lift
This operation is needed when there is an important excess of skin and fat on the internal aspect of the arm. Adipose excess is corrected by lipoaspiration and the excess of skin is resected, leaving a vertical scar in the inner arm.
The patient will be well informed on surgery procedures, and results during the first consultation.
Operation is practiced under deep local anaesthesia or under general anaesthesia.

A first lipoaspiration is performed if necessary to withdraws adipose excess, then the cutaneous level is corrected by an incision on the internal part of the arm. A dressing is kept on for a few days. Hospitalisation lasts 24 hours.

Following surgery, oedema and bruises may appear, which progressively disappear.
Sutures will be removed in fourteen days. The scar in the internal part of the arm will be checked and cared for to obtain the best results.
